In this analysis, it has been tried to simulate and analyze the fluid flow on two parallel planes in the same room using the Ansys Fluent software.
The geometry required for this analysis is generated by Gambit software, meshing required for this analysis is also generated by the same software. The type of meshing used in this analysis is structural and the total number of cells produced for this geometry is 250,000 cells.
In this analysis, the K-epsilon Standard viscosity model is used to check the fluid flow. The Standard Wall function is also used near the wall. The energy equation will be solved for this analysis with the momentum equations.
The input is defined as Velocity Inlet and its value is 5 m/s. The output is defined as pressure outlet. The walls of the room are also defined as Wall.
In this analysis, the SIMPLE formulation algorithm is used to decompose the velocity and pressure equations. The Momentum equation is also discretized into Second Order Upwind.
The results are presented as velocity contours as well as streamlines.
