Static pressure definition

If the inlet flow is ultrasonic or if the user is asked to initialize the solution based on the pressure inlet, the static pressure must be entered in the Supersonic / Initial Gauge Pressure section of the Pressure Inlet panel. Of course, this amount of pressure must also be introduced in relative terms. When the flow is in the form of infrasonic, the value for the Supersonic / Initial Gauge Pressure is ignored, and the static pressure is calculated from the specified static values. If initial setup is to be performed on the pressure inlet boundary, to calculate the initial values, the supersonic/initial pressure gauge pressure is applied based on the relations of the isentropic flow in the condensed flow or Bernoulli equation. The amount of supersonic/initial gauge pressure in an intrinsic infrasonic must be reasonably calculated and adjusted in terms of the incoming Mach (in the condensable flow) or the input velocity (in the non-condensing flow).
